The Rocky Mountain Women’s Film Festival is proud to expand our film screenings with Festival in the Community, where we host free screenings of select films leading up to the festival. It’s a chance to sneak a peek before the Festival, plus a great opportunity to introduce your friends to the wonderful and thought-provoking films the Rocky Mountain Women’s Film brings to the Pikes Peak region.

The following films will be presented in partnership with Lace and Grace Ministry at Payne Chapel.

This first feature documentary, THE REBELLIOUS LIFE OF MRS. ROSA PARKS, about Civil Rights icon Rosa Parks delves deep into her historic role in the Montgomery Bus Boycott and her work both before and after this event. Through interviews with people who knew her, powerful archival footage and her own words, the film tells the story of Parks’ extensive organizing, radical politics, and lifelong dedication to activism.
