Heaven is a Traffic Jam on the 405 is an Oscar-winning documentary short that profiles Mindy Alper, a 56-year-old artist battling lifelong depression, anxiety, and trauma. Through candid interviews, the film explores how Alper uses art, particularly drawings and papier-mâché sculptures, to communicate and find joy amidst intense mental health struggles.
Ballet After Dark. Directed by: B. Monet
Ballet After Dark tells the story of a young woman who found the strength to survive after an attack. She created an organization that is helping sexual abuse and domestic violent survivors find healing after trauma through dance therapy.
